New Brush Heads for Better Cleaning
The FlexCare uses the newly designed ProResults brush heads with increased tooth coverage and a broader sweeping motion that results in better plaque removal. Combined with Sonicare's sonic technology, the high-speed bristle action allows a powerful yet gentle cleaning action that ensures a deep cleaning between teeth and along the gum line. With a slim, angled neck, the FlexCare makes it is easy to access hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. The ProResults brush heads come in two sizes: "standard" for a regular cleaning, and "mini" for precision in hard-to-reach areas.

The toothbrush handle also has a new tapered design that is easier to grip, and with a non-slip soft grip for better control. Compared to the Sonicare Elite, the FlexCare is 30 percent smaller, 16 percent lighter, and has 80 percent less vibration, but achieves superior results.

Multiple Cleaning Modes
The FlexCare offers maximum flexibility with your teeth cleaning. There are three two-minute brushing modes that offer "Clean" mode for full power and optimal cleaning, "Sensitive" mode for gentler brushing in sensitive areas, and "Massage" mode for a stimulating, soothing cleaning action.

The FlexCare also offers two routines: "GoCare" is a quick one-minute routine for between regular brushings, and "MaxCare" is a three-minute cleaning mode that combines two minutes of "Clean" mode with one minute of "Massage" mode.

Thanks to the FlexCare's Quadpacer, the toothbrush beeps every thirty seconds to let you know it is time to move on to the next quadrant of your mouth. The brush also features a Smartimer that automatically shuts off the toothbrush after the recommended two minutes of cleaning (unless using the MaxCare routine).

The FlexCare is clinically proven to remove significantly more plaque than Oral-B Sonic Complete.

New ProResults brush heads have increased coverage for more plaque removal.
And for first-time users of FlexCare, an "easy-start" feature allows you to work your way up to full strength by gently increasing the power over your first 14 uses.

Long Lasting Battery
With a lithium ion battery, you don't have to worry about running out of power when you're traveling; with regular brushing, the FlexCare lasts up to two weeks between charges! Lithium ion technology offers more energy and is more environmentally safe as compared to other rechargeable battery technologies. A deluxe recharge gauge on the handle keeps you notified of the amount of charge left.

The Sonicare FlexCare R910 is backed by a 2-year warranty.

What's in the Box:
Sonicare toothbrush, one ProResults standard brush head, deluxe charger with cord wrap and brush head storage, luxury soft travel case, hygienic travel cap, three additional color code rings.

3 out of 5 stars Head became wobbly on two seperate toothbrushes   August 18, 2010
Mtgirl
This toothbrush is great for brushing your teeth as long at the head doesn't break and become wobbly. Luckily, the first time it happend It was under the warranty and they replaced it with no problems. When I called about this one they bascially said i'm out of luck. The new toothbrush did not come with a seperate warranty and they would be more than happy to send me a $10 rebate to purchase another one.

4 out of 5 stars One Minor Flaw   August 5, 2010

one minor flaw: water can get inside the charge base and cord wrapper through the circular opening. please fix this with the next version update.

4 out of 5 stars Good but simpler would be better   July 19, 2010

I believe this tooth brush significantly improves my oral health as compared to a manual toothbrush.

It has more features than the Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite Power Toothbrush which means that it costs more and has an extra button which I accidentally press frequently which switches it to a different mode. All I use is the standard mode. The HealthyWhite would have been both cheaper and more convenient. I fell into the trap that says more features are better. I would choose the simpler is better choice if I was to do it over.

2 out of 5 stars works well when it works...   July 4, 2010

Which is rare. Okay, normally, I wouldn't have given another philips product another shot given that I have had really bad experiences with their other products and they have all died very quickly with light use. Okay, I received this as a replacement due to a previous sonicare (which was a gift) malfunctioning. Okay, I thought it was a one off with the previous one so I thought okay, i'll give it a shot and it lasted way less time. This thing was dead in under 6 months. All I did that *could* have caused it something that would speak volumes to this thing. All I did that was "out of the ordinary" was wipe away some of the gunk accumulating between the brush and the handle with a napkin with some alcohol on it. Nothing too invasive. After this, it completely died. It took it about a week to go from weak vibrations to almost non-existant vibrations as in they were so faint that I could barely feel them there. It's inexcusable for a brush this expensive to die like this over just a simple cleaning (which I have done on everything from 20 dollar Oral B Vitality brushes to more expensive ones) with no issues but for this to die that quickly from the same level of treatment. This was my 2nd failure of a Sonicare (the 1st one just suddenly died after changing out heads as well). I will never buy another Sonicare product again, i'm going back to Oral B. That aside, if you are fine with frequent failures, I must admit their warranty service is good and the toothbrush does well at cleaning your teeth. Just don't invest in a lot of heads because you probably won't get the same model back in the warranty exchange (I didn't).

1 out of 5 stars Overpriced items fails after one year   June 30, 2010

I purchased my Sonicare last April, 2009 on the advise of my dental hygienist. I was really delighted with the performance. I even stocked up on extra brushes when I could find a fair price. Unfotunately this product stopped performing just over a year after I purchased it. The battery is still functioning but it stopped vibrating the attached brush. You can still hear a slight murmur of the battery but no movement of the brush. What to do? How do I justify having extra brushes which cost about $60 that I will now have to either throw away or purchase another unit at over $100 and hope that it doesn't die after another short term use.
