Product Description Pasta Roller and Cutter Set
Amazon.com Review If you have a passion for perfectly prepared pasta, try making your own delectable lasagna noodles, fettuccine, or linguine fini with this pasta roller set that fits all KitchenAid stand mixers. The three attachments include a pasta roller, a fettuccine cutter, and a linguine fini cutter. Just prepare pasta dough and form it into small rectangles which are then fed into one of the attachments. Out come uniform lasagna noodles, fettuccine, linguine, or angel hair pasta. The pasta can be enjoyed fresh or frozen or dried for later. Complete directions, cooking tips, and recipes are included, though cleaning the attachments can be a bit of a challenge, as they can't be washed in water, and any dried-on pasta particles must be removed with the included cleaning brush and toothpicks. --Marcie Bovetz

I don't think I would make pasta without it July 21, 2010 James Talvy (Staten Island, NY) I can't imagine using a manual hand crank machine to roll and cut pasta dough...
I rolled through setting 1 up to 10 or so times until the dough looked good to me.
Making the pasta with the paddle and hook didn't go so well for me but I would attribute that to me being an amateur rather then a problem with the machine or recipe.
All in all it performed just as I expected.
You will love being hands free July 20, 2010 Marcy Norrman (San Diego, CA) I have a hand cranked pasta machine and although it was easy to use... this was so much better. You can be hands free in feeding the machine. It was so much cleaner and thanks to the horsepower of my kitchenaid.. supper fast.
works great July 17, 2010 T. Thompson (Scottsdale, AZ United States) I've waited a long time to finally buy these pasta making attachments. I thought about buying a separate pasta maker with a motor, but the KitchenAid mixer works so well, I thought I'd try these.
I've made pasta twice with them using Mario Batali's recipe. The pasta turned out unbelievably delicious both times and it was not difficult to do. The attachments were easy to figure out and worked perfectly out of the box. I have absolutely no complaints and I am glad I finally invested in this equipment. I expect them to last many years.
Works just like it should July 12, 2010 Cheryl Baldwin (Central New York) I must admit that I purchased this item with a bit of trepidation after reading the reviews. But what point is owning a KitchenAid mixer if you're not going to take advantage of the attachments? I tried them for the first time today and they worked great! Clearly KitchenAid has resolved the cleanliness issue mentioned by some, and I had no trouble with the recipe or the cutting attachments. I used Hodgson Mill pasta flour which appears to be half flour, half semolina. I did learn two things (1) it's best to cut the rolled pasta in half to reduce the length of the finished noodles and keep them uniform, and (2) you really do need to sprinkle the rolled pasta with flour to keep the sheets from sticking and to get a great cut. I'm going to assume that the attachments will hold up as well as my mixer, so I would recommend this item to anyone.
Fantastic!!! June 24, 2010 Tom the bomb (Detroit, MI) I have always rolled out my pasta by hand. This makes it so easy. It is heavy duty and works great. If you don't like this it's your problem. So far nothing but great pasta.
