Product Description What's a kitchen without bowls? Designed for function and style these handy bowls are most economical by the set.
Amazon.com Review Renowned worldwide for its cookware collections, All-Clad now makes kitchen accessories, and that's welcome news to serious and professional cooks. This set of gorgeous mixing bowls is a perfect example. Made of heavy 18/10 stainless steel polished to a deep, gleaming mirror finish, they're stain- and corrosion-resistant and nonreactive to acidic foods like salad dressings and marinades. Their side handles are generously sized and cleverly angled to provide an exceptionally firm grip when whisking egg whites or whipping cream, and the rolled edges permit pouring without dripping. The set consists of a 5-quart bowl (10 inches in diameter), a 3-quart bowl (8-1/2 inches in diameter), and a 1-1/2-quart bowl (7 inches in diameter) that nest inside one another. The bowls are dishwasher-safe and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

My Wife Loved Them January 17, 2010 Phatty McButterworth (Wayne, IL) My wife was very pleased with the quality of this item. Out went the old; in came the All Clad. Amazon is so dependable.
Worth every penny July 24, 2009 S. Backes (WI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was on the hunt for stainless steel bowls and came across this set thinking, are you kidding? Why does it cost that much? I know it's all-clad and of course you're paying for the name to an extent, but you also know you're getting high quality with that name. I love, love, love my set. I have no problems with the handle like some and actually find it to be very useful. I see this set lasting a lifetime, it has a nice weight to it and the shape of the bowl is perfect for all the baking and prep I do.
Great idea that just misses July 21, 2009 Mutual Information 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I really wanted to buy these bowls. Handles looked very useful and the quality appeared to be first rate. But the gap between the handle and the bowl is too small for my fingers and I don't have the thickest fingers in the world. It just made using the bowls difficult, irritating and tiring. I wonder why All-clad designed it this way. I would not recommend the set unless they redesigned the handles.
The best of the best November 25, 2008 C. G. King (Horse Country, VA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love my All-Clad cookware, but these bowls are my favorite pieces. The handle makes all the difference. They are so easy to use and to clean that I never use my other bowls anymore. Yes, I have other bowls collected over the years, but I've gone 'off' plastic for the most part and relegated those to the garage or the barn. The glass bowls are heavy where these are lightweight while still strong. The slick stainless steel finish washes up in a flash. Mine aren't so sparkling anymore after years of whisking and beating so the inner finish is more a patina of whorls than a mirror, but that just shows how well-loved they are. It's the handle though, that sets these bowls apart more than anything else. It makes working with them secure and comfortable. They are well worth the investment because they will last a lifetime (or more).
If you want the best . . . July 17, 2007 surfing (Monterey, ca) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Taking a "You only live once view . . .", I decided to retire my 40 year old set of bowls and splurge on All Clad. I wanted to compare them with the Cuisinart set of 4 w/lids for less, but couldn't find any in the stores with which to compare. The bowls arrived earlier than expected in perfect condition in a factory box, and they are things of beauty, and feel more like tools than bowls. . . perfectly weighted, beautifully polished, and comfortable in the hands. They should last forever. The bowls are an equal in quality to All Clad cookware, IMHO.
